Job Summary

Develop and maintain software applications and infrastructure, ensuring reliable deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting to support integrated building and facility management solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications and services to meet business needs
  • Take full ownership of assigned applications and their infrastructure from development through deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes to enable efficient software delivery
  • Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues across application, infrastructure, and networking layers to ensure system reliability
  • Investigate and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime
  • Automate repetitive deployment and operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and actively contribute to technical and system design discussions
  • Independently troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues to support continuous system operation
  • Apply knowledge of application and infrastructure security practices to safeguard systems

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java programming languages
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases for data management
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts such as DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, and network connectivity
  • Experience with Git and modern software development workflows for version control and collaboration
  • Experience with cloud or virtualized environments to support scalable infrastructure
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies for application deployment
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code or infrastructure automation tools to manage infrastructure efficiently
  • Exposure to backend APIs, microservices, or distributed systems architectures
