Position Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to major projects within the semiconductor manufacturing domain. This role focuses on maintaining, configuring, customizing, and supporting Oracle ERP modules to ensure seamless daily operations across finance, procurement, warehouse, and manufacturing divisions. The Software engineer will work closely with business users to translate their needs into technical solutions and integrating technologies to optimize business processes and elevate enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, monitor, and support the Oracle ERP system to ensure stable, secure, and reliable operations.
  • Provide L1/L2 support for ERP-related issues: incident analysis, root cause identification, and timely resolution.
  • Work closely with business users to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements for ERP enhancements or new functionalities.
  • Configure and customize Oracle ERP modules according to business needs and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain reports, forms, interfaces, and extensions within the Oracle ERP ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Oracle ERP with surrounding systems.
  • Analyze Java-based applications and contribute to web application development that integrates with or extends ERP functionality.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, technical specifications, configuration documents, and user guides.
  • Participate in change management activities: impact assessment, testing, rollout planning, and post-implementation review.
  • Support system upgrades, patches, and migrations to ensure the ERP landscape remains up-to-date and compliant.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to optimize business processes and improve user experience within the ERP system
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Company as and when required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with Oracle ERP (i.e.; E-Business Suite, Oracle EBS)
  • Solid experience in at least one functional technical area (i.e.; Finance, Procurement/Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse, Material Management, Order Management or Manufacturing).
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP configuration, data structures, and standard business processes.
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, including writing queries, stored procedures, and performing data analysis within Oracle databases.
  • Experience in developing or maintaining Oracle reports, forms, interfaces, and customizations.
  • Proven ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications.
  • Familiar with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), change control, and testing practices (unit, integration, UAT).
