Job Summary

You will champion product quality and quality engineering practices in an agile environment, collaborating with stakeholders to build and validate features, design testing frameworks, and drive continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote product quality and quality engineering practices within an agile development environment to ensure high standards
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to verify that product development aligns with requirements and quality expectations
  • Validate product features against defined acceptance criteria to confirm functionality and performance
  • Design, develop, and maintain testing environments, frameworks, test plans, regression suites, and test cases adapting to evolving requirements
  • Identify and address blind spots and edge cases in test coverage to improve product reliability
  • Execute various testing types including manual, automated, functional, exploratory, cross-platform, and performance testing across iOS, Android, and web platforms
  • Conduct system integration tests with external systems and produce comprehensive test reports
  • Work closely with development teams to establish and enhance Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering or related roles
  • Strong foundation in test methodologies with analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Cucumber, Selenium, and Appium
  • Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices
  • Experience conducting non-functional testing including security, performance, and load testing
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate as a team player
  • Solid understanding of mobile technologies (iOS and Android - React Native) and web technologies (React.js, Node.js) including debugging tools
  • Strong grasp of unit testing using JavaScript frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine
  • Proactive initiative to explore and develop tools that enhance testing processes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Certification in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) is advantageous but not mandatory
