3. Workmanship Quality: Inspect own soldering work and support solder joint verification using applicable IPC workmanship criteria to ensure there are no defects such as solder bridging, insufficient solder, excessive solder, cold joints, poor wetting, solder balls, lifted pads, component damage, wrong orientation, or missing components.

4. Production and Engineering Support: Support production builds, engineering development builds, prototype activities, RF tuning support, and urgent rework activities to meet quality and delivery requirements.

5. ESD and Material Handling: Follow ESD control requirements, proper component handling, packaging, storage, and cleanliness practices to prevent damage to sensitive electronic assemblies.

6. Process Documentation: Record soldering, rework, touch-up, inspection, traceability, and process information accurately in checklists, travelers, rework records, inspection forms, or other required documentation.

7. Defect Escalation: Identify and report abnormal soldering conditions, workmanship defects, damaged parts, process issues, or material discrepancies promptly to the supervisor, process engineer, quality team, or relevant stakeholders.

8. Tool and Equipment Control: Use soldering irons, hot air tools, microscopes, magnifiers, fixtures, hand tools, and related equipment properly, and ensure tools are maintained in good working condition with calibration status verified where applicable.

9. Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain good housekeeping, workplace discipline, safe working practices, and compliance with company procedures at soldering and rework workstations.

10. Continuous Improvement: Support improvement activities related to soldering quality, rework reduction, process control, first-pass yield improvement, and production efficiency.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
