The posting

We are seeking a GEO Specialist to strengthen capability in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), AI discoverability, and answer engine readiness across digital ecosystem.

This role ensures content is structured, discoverable, compliant, and accurately represented across generative search, answer engines, conversational AI platforms, and traditional search experiences.

The role will support broader digital transformation by helping evolve web platforms from traditional traffic destinations into trusted AI input systems that support patients, healthcare consumers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders in finding credible information.

Key Responsibilities

GEO Strategy and AI Discoverability

· Support GEO strategies to improve visibility across generative search, answer engines, AI assistants, and search-led digital journeys.

· Translate SEO foundations into AI-native optimization, including entity clarity, semantic structure, structured answers, and topic authority.

· Identify opportunities to improve how scientific, medical, brand, and corporate content is discovered and represented by AI-driven platforms.

Technical SEO and AI-Ready Content Optimization

· Assess web pages for technical SEO and GEO readiness, including crawlability, indexability, structured data, metadata, semantic HTML, internal linking, headings, accessibility, and content clarity.

· Identify platform-level improvements required to make content easier for search engines and AI systems to parse.

· Work with web, content, and compliance teams to ensure high-priority content is available in machine-readable formats rather than only in PDFs, images, or non-parseable assets.

· Support improvement of structured data, schema markup, metadata, content architecture, and crawlability.

Measurement, Reporting, and Insights

· Define and monitor GEO indicators such as AI citation presence, answer engine visibility, query coverage, content discoverability, and AI-influenced engagement.

· Use GA4, Google Search Console, SEO platforms, content analytics, and emerging GEO tools to identify opportunities and track performance.

· Track metrics such as AI citations, share of answer, citation source quality, branded and unbranded visibility, crawl behavior, organic search performance, content engagement, and conversion to owned web experiences.

· Provide regular insights to the teams.

Required Skills and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.

· 3–6 years of experience in SEO, technical SEO, content optimization, web analytics, digital marketing, or related digital experience roles.

· Strong understanding of how search engines crawl, index, rank, and interpret content.

· Practical understanding of generative AI search behavior, AI answer engines, large language models, and emerging GEO practices.

· Experience working with SEO and analytics tools such as Semrush, Google Search Console, GA4/GA360, ScreamingFrog, Adobe LLM Optimizer, or equivalent platforms.

· Familiarity with structured data, schema.org, metadata, semantic HTML, sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, hreflang, internal linking, and page experience signals.

· Ability to interpret analytics data and translate findings into clear business and content recommendations.

· Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work across technical, commercial, regulatory, and agency teams.

· Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple language.

· High attention to detail and comfort working in a regulated healthcare or life sciences environment.

Preferred Skills

· Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.

· Understanding of promotional and non-promotional content boundaries in healthcare or pharma digital environments.

· Experience with CMS platforms such as AEM, WordPress VIP, or similar enterprise web platforms.

· Exposure to GEO, AI visibility, generative search monitoring, or answer engine analytics tools.

· Experience with multilingual or multi-market web ecosystems.

· Familiarity with content taxonomy, ontology, controlled vocabularies, and medical terminology governance.

Success Measures

The GEO Specialist will be measured on:

· Improved visibility and citation quality of content across AI answer engines.

· Increased consistency and accuracy of representation in AI-generated answers.

· Improved technical SEO and GEO readiness across priority web pages.

· Reduction in content formats that are difficult for AI systems to parse, such as image-based tables or PDF-only critical information.

· Adoption of GEO playbooks and best practices by market and content teams.

· Stronger collaboration between web, analytics, regulatory, and commercial stakeholders.

· Clear, actionable reporting that connects GEO performance with business and customer experience outcomes.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
