Job Summary:

Chello is opening its first physical store in Orchard, and we’re looking for a Store Manager to lead this new chapter.

Chello creates refined clothing for women who want to feel confident and at ease in what they wear. Our store will bring that experience to life in person. You’ll build and lead the founding retail team, establish strong store routines, and make every customer visit feel distinctly Chello.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the store opening, from preparing the team and daily processes to welcoming our first customers
  • Recruit, train, coach, and manage the retail team
  • Set a high standard for warm, thoughtful service and personalised styling
  • Take ownership of store sales, review performance, and identify ways to improve results
  • Manage staff schedules, daily operations, cash handling, and customer escalations
  • Oversee stock accuracy, replenishment, and visual merchandising
  • Share customer insights with HQ to help shape our products, campaigns, and retail experience

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience managing a fashion or lifestyle retail store and leading a team
  • Strong commercial judgement and a hands-on approach to selling
  • A genuine interest in styling and helping customers find what works for them
  • Confidence building processes, solving problems, and making decisions on the floor
  • Clear communication and the ability to work closely with our HQ team
  • Availability to work retail shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Location: Orchard, Singapore Employment: Full-time
