Seeking an experienced, passionate, and commercially driven Store Manager to spearhead the operations of an exciting and renowned Japanese bakery concept entering Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the bakery outlet.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing store team.
  • Ensure outstanding customer service and uphold Japanese hospitality standards.
  • Drive sales performance and achieve store targets.
  • Monitor inventory, stock ordering, wastage control, and cost management.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and operational excellence.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate team members.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve operational issues effectively.
  • Work closely with senior management on new initiatives, promotions, and business growth strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or similar leadership role within bakery, café, retail, hospitality, or F&B operations.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage store performance.
  • Strong customer service mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in inventory management, manpower planning, and sales operations.
  • Passion for Japanese food culture and service excellence.
  • Japanese language proficiency is preferred to liaise with Japanese stakeholders and support communication with the Japan headquarters.
  • Native and non-native Japanese speakers with business communication proficiency are encouraged to apply.
  • Energetic, hands-on, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
