The posting

About the role

The company is dedicated to fostering a global gaming community, with over 700 million people engaging with games, gaming content, or gaming groups each month. As a Strategic Program Manager on the Greater China Region (GCR) Gaming Partnerships team, you will cultivate, manage, and sustain relationships with key gaming developer partners, assisting them in discovering, adopting, and thriving on the company’s gaming platforms, with additional support for global developers in EMEA and North America.

You will manage and grow an existing portfolio of around 10–15 strategic partners, working directly with game developers while advocating for their needs internally with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams. You will report directly to the team’s Strategic Partner Manager and be based onsite with the team in Singapore.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building durable, long-term, scaled partnerships with prominent gaming companies by understanding their strategy and goals
  • Representing the company and providing thought leadership in external meetings with partner executives
  • Driving adoption and integration of new features from the company’s gaming platforms
  • Advising partners on monetization and user growth — helping developers increase revenue and user acquisition
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, marketing, and finance
  • Tracking, analysing, and communicating key quantitative metrics and business trends across your partner portfolio
  • Using analysis and gaming industry expertise to source and develop new partner opportunities
  • Leading advertising-related projects and regional initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive advertiser and monetization outcomes

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in business development or account management, in client-facing roles
  • Gaming industry experience, with a working understanding of what makes games successful
  • Experience in the Greater China Region market
  • English and Mandarin proficiency — Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners in the local language
  • Experience working effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, internally and externally
  • Ability to define, initiate, and drive business opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Good understanding of the internet industry; advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred:

  • Deep domain knowledge of the gaming industry; user-growth related experience
  • Digital advertising experience
  • Experience in large, matrixed organisations (e.g., major tech companies)
  • Ability to structure, negotiate, and maintain significant and complex strategic relationships with game companies
  • BS/BA in a quantitative field such as Economics or Business/Commerce, or equivalent experience

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.
