Job Description
- Engage, befriend and mentor students with emotional, social and well-being needs.
- Monitor and track students’ progress and provide appropriate support.
- Plan and supervise activities at the Engagement Centre.
- Organise and facilitate after-school engagement activities.
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding students’ progress and well-being.
- Coordinate with community partners and support student participation in programmes.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, progress and incidents.
- Follow school safeguarding, emergency and confidentiality procedures.
- Perform other student-related duties as assigned by the school.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience supporting or engaging youths in a school, social service or community setting.
- Relevant youth work qualifications/certifications are preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Strong ability to engage and mentor youths.
- Empathetic, emotionally resilient and able to build trust with students
