Position: Pilates and Aerial Wellness Assistant

Hours: from 4 - 25 hours a week

Pay: From $11 an hour to 1100 for 25 hours of work a week

Description: Join Mindful Movement as a Wellness Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in supporting our studio operations. As the first point of contact on someone's journey from being in pain to to embracing movement and wellness pain-free, it's important that this person be someone who loves talking to others, can see the big picture of timely communication, is able to communicate this through our brand guidelines and can help with administrative duties, and hands-on equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Inquiries (WhatsApp & Instagram): Monitor and respond to client inquiries via WhatsApp and Instagram. Ensure responses are timely, warm, and aligned with our brand voice, helping clients feel supported from their first interaction with us.
  • General Admin Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, client communications, and studio upkeep for three hours once a week on-site.
  • Content Creation (Reels & Marketing): Assist in creating engaging content, especially Instagram Reels. Capture simple in-studio footage, contribute to content ideas, and help communicate the Mindful Movement brand in a natural and relatable way.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain Pilates reformers and aerial equipment, including hammock rigging. Ideal for individuals comfortable with hands-on tasks, who are comfortable climbing a ladder up to 1.6 m high - we will teach you how, but crafting, rock climbing, or tying ropes will come in handy.
  • Studio Organization: Keep the studio tidy and organized to ensure a welcoming environment for clients.
  • Poster Printing: Create and print promotional posters on a monthly basis to highlight upcoming events and classes.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service via phone and email, addressing inquiries and booking appointments.

Requirements:

  • Experience in customer service or administrative roles preferred.
  • Comfortable working with Pilates, and aerial, apparatus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform hands-on maintenance tasks.
  • Availability to work weekends for phone duty and one weekday for on-site admin support - one hour in the morning, one hour in the evening

​We offer bespoke studio pilates reformer classes, gyrotonic classes, aerial hammock classes, and holistic wellness workshops. Our Back Care classes are catered towards helping people understand their scoliosis curvature better through movement and how to help stabilize their back and spine.
