Partnering closely with a multinational Pharmaceutical company, we are recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Manager (6-Months Contract) to support the Commercial and Supply Chain teams in coordinating supply chain activities between local markets and Global Supply Chain.
The successful incumbent will focus on open order book management, supply coordination, inventory monitoring and Market S&OP support, timely order fulfilment and continuity of supply across assigned markets. Key relationships will be between internal supply chain teams, third-party distributors and partners, supporting supply risk management and operational execution.
Responsibilities:
- Order Book Management: Prepare, analyse and maintain regular Open Order Book reports for alliance partners and third-party distributors across Europe and Asia. Monitor sales orders, communicate order changes and support order tracking meetings.
- Supply Coordination: Work closely with Supply and Demand Planning teams to align production and supply with market demand, monitor order fulfilment and address potential supply constraints.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of supply, communicate supply risks and facilitate timely resolution of operational issues.
- S&OP Support: Assist in the preparation and execution of market-level Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities.
- Inventory Management: Coordinate inventory redeployment across markets and support inventory optimisation initiatives to minimise shortages and obsolescence.
- Product Lifecycle Support: Coordinate supply chain activities related to new product introductions, product discontinuations and regulatory or artwork changes, working closely with relevant supply chain, regulatory and commercial teams.
- Market Supply Support: Support government tenders, direct import programmes and clinical supply requests in collaboration with local market partners and relevant internal teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in supply chain, order management or supply planning, preferably in the pharmaceutical or consumer goods industry.
- Familiarity with SAP BW and supply chain planning processes
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with data analysis or reporting tools such as Tableau.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory requirements, including cGMP, is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of logistics, warehousing and transportation.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Customer-oriented and comfortable working in a cross-functional, multicultural environment
