Job Summary

The Systems & Network Engineer plays a hybrid role spanning client-facing solutioning and day-to-day operational support of systems and network infrastructure. This role works directly with clients to understand requirements and support technical solution design, while also handling ongoing network maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident response across deployed environments. The role suits a candidate comfortable moving between solution-oriented client engagement and hands-on operational work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with clients to understand systems and network requirements, supporting technical solution design and proposals.
  • Design, configure, and support network infrastructure, including switching, routing, wireless, and network security components.
  • Perform network maintenance activities, including monitoring, patching, and performance optimisation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve systems and network issues, providing timely incident response to minimise downtime.
  • Support integration between systems and network infrastructure and other OST solutions(e.g. ELV, structured cabling) as part of project delivery.
  • Maintain working knowledge of relevant platforms and standards (e.g. Cisco/CCNA, Fortinet, Microsoft), using these as reference points to guide solution design and troubleshooting.
  • Document network configurations, incident resolutions, and system changes for internal knowledge management.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, project delivery, and sales teams to ensure solutions are practical, deliverable, and aligned with client needs.
  • Support internal systems and network infrastructure where required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in systems and/or network engineering, ideally with some client-facing exposure.
  • Working knowledge of networking and systems platforms (e.g. Cisco/CCNA, Fortinet, Microsoft), with relevant certifications considered an advantage rather than a requirement.
  • Practical experience with network troubleshooting, maintenance, and incident response.
  • Good command of English for technical documentation and client communication.
  • Comfortable working within Singapore-based site visits as part of the role.
  • Strong client engagement mindset.
  • Effective communicator across cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, project delivery).
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Curious and innovative in approach to problem-solving and technical learning.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
