The posting

The AWS Enterprise Support team is growing to meet the demands of a portfolio of always-on, latency-sensitive enterprise customers whose production workloads run across global AWS regions. As a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will be the named technical point of accountability for some of the team's largest accounts — owning architectural guidance, operational strategy, and proactive support delivery end to end. The team is investing in three areas where you will have immediate impact: converting recurring support patterns into reusable automation and documented procedures, deepening technical expertise in databases, containers, networking, and capacity planning, and shifting the delivery mix from reactive case work to proactive resilience reviews, cost planning, and measurable customer outcomes. If you want to own a customer relationship where every interaction matters and your contributions raise the bar for the whole team, this is the role.

Key job responsibilities - Own the end-to-end technical relationship for a portfolio of enterprise customers, advising on cloud architecture, operational strategy, and launch readiness across global AWS regions. - Assess customer environments for architectural risks and scaling constraints, then build actionable plans that maintain business continuity for workloads with 24/7 uptime requirements and unpredictable demand patterns. - Collaborate with account teams, Solutions Architects, and AWS service teams for compute, database, container, and networking services to resolve complex issues and drive product improvements informed by real customer patterns. - Analyze operational metrics and deliver periodic performance reviews to customer leadership, translating data into clear recommendations that strengthen security posture, cost efficiency, and system reliability. - Contribute to the team's shared knowledge base, standard operating procedures, and reusable automation, and mentor fellow Technical Account Managers to raise the collective capability of the group.

A day in the life You might start the morning reviewing an operational dashboard for a customer whose traffic can spike without warning, then jump into a call with their engineering team — in Mandarin as the role deals with clients who predominantly communicate in Mandarin — to walk through a scaling plan for an upcoming product release. After lunch you could be partnering with an AWS service team to troubleshoot a networking issue that spans a complex multi-account topology, and later in the afternoon you present a quarterly architecture review to a customer's leadership, highlighting risks mitigated and opportunities ahead.

About the team We are a cross-border Enterprise Support team within AWS that serves enterprise customers headquartered in Singapore while their production infrastructure runs in global AWS regions. Our closest partners are the account teams and Solutions Architects on our shared accounts, along with AWS service teams in compute, database, container, and networking. As our customer portfolio grows and workloads become more demanding, we are looking for a senior engineer ready to take designated ownership of key accounts and help us scale proactive delivery through better mechanisms, deeper technical expertise, and shared tooling.

- 7+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience - 7+ years of technical engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment - Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
