Technical Program Manager – Chip Development

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to drive SSE chip development from planning and specification definition through tape-out, silicon validation and mass-production readiness.

You will partner with R&D leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver programmes aligned with customer requirements and product roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop short, medium and long-term chip development plans with R&D leaders, balancing customer requirements and available resources.
  • Manage the full development lifecycle, including specification finalisation, design, simulation, technical reviews, tape-out, fabrication and silicon validation.
  • Establish and improve development review checkpoints, documentation requirements and templates.
  • Identify technical and delivery risks, coordinate mitigation plans and drive timely resolution across teams.
  • Coordinate MPW prototype validation and solution selection, oversee NTO tape-outs, and monitor performance and quality to support transfer to mass production.
  • Drive resolution of chip-related issues raised by customers and internal product teams.
  • Communicate validation results and development outcomes to R&D and product management teams, supporting chip-platform improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in chip development and at least 3 years in chip-development project management.
  • Strong understanding of the chip development lifecycle, from specifications and design reviews through tape-out, validation and production readiness.
  • Strong analytical, planning and risk-management skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to coordinate technical teams and drive delivery against project milestones.

Candidates will be assessed based on relevant qualifications, skills and experience.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
