🔬 Science Lab Assistant

💰 $14/hour 📅 1-Year Contract | Oct 2026 – 30 Sep 2027 🔄 Option to Extend

Requirements

  • GCE O-Level or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • First Aid training is an advantage
  • Good stakeholder coordination skills
  • Primary school experience is advantageous

Key Responsibilities

  • 🧪 Prepare apparatus, equipment and reagents for laboratory lessons
  • 👩‍🏫 Support teachers during teaching and learning activities
  • 🧹 Maintain cleanliness of laboratory equipment and work areas
  • 📋 Perform basic administrative and office duties
  • 🔧 Support other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Working Hours

  • Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri: 7:30am – 1:30pm (½-hour lunch break)
  • Wed: 7:30am – 2:30pm (½-hour lunch break)
  • 🚫 No service required on Saturdays, Sundays & gazetted public holidays
