Job Summary

Deliver engaging violin lessons and prepare students for ABRSM exams and performances while supporting their progression and retention in a collaborative, high-performance teaching environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging violin lessons to students aged 3.5 years to adults, adapting teaching methods to individual learning needs
  • Prepare students effectively for ABRSM exams and public performances, ensuring skill mastery and confidence
  • Guide prospective students from trial lessons to long-term enrolment, fostering sustained engagement
  • Support student progression and retention through personalized feedback and motivational strategies
  • Participate actively in recitals and academy events to showcase student achievements and promote community
  • Collaborate closely with a high-performing teaching team to share best practices and enhance curriculum delivery

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Music
  • Minimum 2 years of violin teaching experience
  • Proficient in violin performance and ABRSM theory

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Passionate and driven attitude with strong interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students

Salary & Incentives

  • Base salary: $5200/month
  • Incentives: $800 – $2,500/month
  • Top performers can earn $6,000 – $7,700+/month
