The posting

About us

Love, Bonito is a digital-first company on a mission to empower the everyday Asian woman and inspire self-confidence. We are the leading direct-to-consumer womenswear brand, headquartered in Singapore, with an omni-channel presence across Indonesia and Malaysia, a retail franchise in Cambodia, and are fast expanding into international markets namely Hong Kong SAR China and United States of America.

Founded in 2010, we are proudly female-founded with more than 70% female representation across our organisation, leadership and STEM roles (#girlpower!). We raised a US$50M Series C round in 2021 and know that we’re on the cusp of something great, where we’re working towards becoming the most thoughtful brand globally, for the Asian female consumer, especially when it comes to our products, community and experiences.

There’s a lot more work to be done with all of our exciting plans. So we’re looking to team up with people who are wildly passionate about making an impact and be part of a dynamic team, in a workplace with no corporate BS (yes, you read that right!).

The role

You will be responsible for leading the brand’s visual merchandising function and ensuring that all stores deliver a consistent, inspiring, and commercially effective customer experience. As the key bridge between HQ and store teams, you will translate brand direction into impactful visual strategies and oversee their execution across all retail locations. Reporting directly to the Retail Manager, you will manage the full spectrum of VM activities—including concept development, store presentation, training, budgeting, and vendor management—while driving cross-functional initiatives that enhance brand expression, elevate visual standards, and maximise sales performance across the organisation.

  • A structured problem-solver who can identify underlying causes of complex visual or operational challenges, collaborate with stakeholders, and evaluate solutions for effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate strong communication with clarity and impact, tailoring messaging to diverse audiences—strong coaching skill set with store VM teams, influencing HQ stakeholders, and fostering strong relationships with customers and external partners.
  • An adaptable lead who can manage change, respond to evolving retail contexts, and guiding teams through shifting priorities and urgent VM requirements.
  • Strong multi-tasking and execution abilities, and an ability to think /work systematically, with impeccable judgment and discretion
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships independently, with a strong focus on cost-efficiency and contract negotiation to ensure optimal service delivery and value

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
