The posting

The Role will support Wealth Regulatory Reporting Operations in project migration activities by assisting with requirements documentation, UAT execution, defect tracking, and stakeholder communication for a MNC Bank.

Shift Schedule: Standard hours; flexible during testing and go-live phases.

This project requires careful coordination across upstream booking systems and downstream regulatory reporting feeds to maintain data integrity and regulatory compliance. The Analyst will assist the core Regulatory Operations team in managing project deliverables, facilitating smooth testing cycles, and tracking action items across Business, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Technology partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Document requirements of Reg Ops and map upstream/downstream trade booking impacts.
  2. Execute test scripts and perform basic reconciliations to verify reporting data accuracy.
  3. Log, track, and follow up on test defects and data discrepancies with Tech teams.
  4. Draft status updates, maintain action logs, and prepare briefing packs for impacted teams.
  5. Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, and cutover checklists for BAU handover.

Knowledge/Experience:

Essential

  • 0–2 years of experience in Banking or Financial Services Operations (regulatory reporting exposure preferred).

Desirable

  • Familiarity with APAC wealth regulations (e.g., MAS, HKMA, cross-border reporting).
  • Basic understanding of financial regulations and operational reporting workflows.
  • General knowledge of Wealth/Capital Markets products and the trade lifecycle.

Skills:

Essential

  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong data reconciliation, investigation, and analytical skills.
  • Clear presentation and communication skills for operational updates.

Desirable

  • Basic SQL or reporting/BI tool knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience with BRD documentation and UAT execution.

Qualifications:

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in Finance, Banking, Business, or a related discipline.

Desirable

  • Coursework or certifications in Project Management, Business Analysis, or Banking Operations.
