Job Summary

The Workday Extend Consultant designs, develops, and deploys custom applications on the Workday Extend platform. You will partner with clients to enhance Workday capabilities, delivering innovative business solutions that improve user experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom applications using Workday Extend to meet client business needs
  • Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions
  • Configure user interfaces, workflows, validations, and business logic within Workday Extend to optimize application functionality
  • Integrate Workday Extend applications with Workday business processes and data to ensure seamless operations
  • Conduct technical design reviews, perform testing, and manage deployment activities to deliver robust solutions
  • Troubleshoot application issues promptly and implement system enhancements to improve performance
  • Collaborate with Workday Functional, Integration, and Security consultants to align technical solutions with business objectives
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to support teams for smooth application maintenance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Workday Extend Certification preferred
  • Experience developing applications using Workday Extend
  • Knowledge of Workday architecture, business processes, security, and integrations
  • Experience working on Workday implementation or AMS projects is preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical consulting skills
