Job Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Management System and safety programmes.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, identify hazards and ensure appropriate risk control measures are implemented.
- Review and monitor Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
- Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, WSH requirements, company policies and client requirements.
- Conduct safety briefings and WSH inductions, and promote a positive safety culture across project sites.
- Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, identify root causes and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor WSH performance and support internal, external and regulatory audits and inspections.
- Maintain safety records, reports and statutory documentation.
- Support emergency preparedness and response activities.
- Provide WSH advice to management and site personnel and recommend improvements to safety practices.
Requirements
- WSQ Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health, BSCC or equivalent certification.
- Preferably 6 years of relevant construction working experience.
- Good knowledge of WSH regulations, risk management and workplace safety practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to work at project sites located in Jurong Island.
- Possess own transport to travel to project sites and work locations as required.
