As the Gardener at Levande Parklands Village, you will play an important role in maintaining the gardens, lawns and outdoor areas that help make our community a welcoming and enjoyable place to call home. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering stability, regular hours and the chance to work outdoors as part of a supportive village team. You will have the opportunity to:

Enjoy the security of a full-time, permanent position Earn $35 per hour base rate, plus applicable superannuation. Work outdoors and see the impact of your work every day. Take ownership of maintaining beautiful, welcoming village grounds. Build positive relationships with residents and your village team. Enjoy variety across gardening, groundskeeping and village presentation.

What You Will Do As our Gardener, you will help ensure Parklands Village remains safe, attractive and well maintained for our residents, visitors and team. Your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining gardens, lawns and landscaped areas across the village. Mowing, edging, pruning, mulching, watering and planting. Keeping pathways and communal outdoor spaces clean and presentable. Supporting waste collection and village bin requirements. Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment safely. Responding to resident requests relating to gardens and outdoor areas. Identifying maintenance issues and supporting village presentation. Working closely with the wider village team when required.

What You Will Bring You are someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes genuine pride in creating well-maintained outdoor environments. You are comfortable working independently while also being part of a community-focused team. You will ideally bring:

Previous gardening, groundskeeping or landscape maintenance experience. Practical knowledge of horticulture, garden care and maintenance. Confidence using gardening tools, machinery and equipment safely. The ability to organise your workload and work independently. A friendly, respectful and customer-focused approach. Physical capability to undertake regular manual and outdoor work. Experience in retirement living or community settings is advantageous.
