The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive annual communication and social media plans, managing PR strategies, coordinating media engagement, and executing integrated campaigns that strengthen brand reputation, increase visibility, and support business objectives.

This role requires a professional who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring that every communication initiative is planned, delivered on time, and aligned with the Group's brand positioning.

The candidate must demonstrate strong ownership, commitment, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple communication priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Annual PR & Communications Planning

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive annual PR and corporate communications strategy aligned with business objectives and brand priorities.
  • Prepare yearly communication calendars covering corporate announcements, product launches, milestones, partnerships, exhibitions, events, and key industry developments.
  • Identify opportunities for media coverage, thought leadership, executive visibility, and reputation building.
  • Plan quarterly and monthly activities, campaigns, budgets, deliverables, and performance targets.
  • Ensure consistent corporate messaging across all communication channels and Group businesses.

2. Public Relations & Media Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and international media outlets, journalists, publications, and relevant industry platforms.
  • Prepare and distribute press releases, media statements, corporate announcements, feature articles, interviews, and media briefs.
  • Identify opportunities for media coverage, industry features, executive interviews, and corporate storytelling.
  • Manage media inquiries, interview coordination, press attendance, and post-event media coverage.
  • Coordinate with external PR agencies, media partners, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective execution.
  • Monitor media coverage, industry sentiment, competitor activities, and emerging communication opportunities.
  • Support crisis communication planning and ensure sensitive matters are handled professionally and in coordination with management.

3. Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Develop and manage the annual social media strategy and content calendar across relevant platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other appropriate channels.
  • Plan monthly and quarterly content themes, campaign schedules, corporate announcements, product communications, and industry-specific content.
  • Manage end-to-end social media execution, from planning and briefing creative teams to publishing, community management, and performance reporting.
  • Ensure that all content reflects the Group's corporate identity, communication standards, and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, content creators, business units, and senior management to develop high-quality content.
  • Monitor audience engagement, follower growth, reach, impressions, website traffic, and other relevant performance indicators.
  • Identify opportunities to improve content quality, platform performance, audience engagement, and brand visibility.

4. Social Media Advertising & Paid Campaigns

  • Plan, execute, and optimise paid social media advertising campaigns aligned with brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, recruitment, and business objectives.
  • Develop annual and campaign-specific paid media plans, including budgets, audience targeting, creative requirements, timelines, and performance targets.
  • Manage or coordinate campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, and YouTube Ads, as appropriate.
  • Work with creative and digital marketing teams to develop effective ad copy, visuals, videos, and campaign assets.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimise targeting, placements, creatives, and spending to improve results.
  • Prepare campaign performance reports covering expenditure, reach, engagement, conversions, cost efficiency, and return on investment where measurable.
  • Ensure advertising activities are properly tracked, evaluated, and aligned with approved budgets.

5. Corporate Communications & Executive Visibility

  • Develop corporate communication materials, including leadership messages, official statements, speeches, announcements, newsletters, and internal communications.
  • Support the development of executive visibility and thought leadership through interviews, articles, professional social media content, and industry commentary.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure accuracy, consistency, and appropriate approval of corporate communications.
  • Maintain a professional and consistent tone of voice across corporate channels.
  • Support communication initiatives related to corporate milestones, strategic partnerships, business achievements, and major events.

6. Annual Campaign Execution & Coordination

  • Translate the annual communication strategy into actionable monthly and quarterly execution plans.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external agencies, media partners, and creative teams to deliver campaigns on schedule.
  • Prepare campaign briefs, define deliverables, establish timelines, and follow up on progress.
  • Coordinate communications for exhibitions, industry events, product launches, sponsorships, and corporate initiatives.
  • Ensure all communication materials are reviewed, approved, and published according to established processes.
  • Maintain a structured calendar to avoid missed opportunities, delayed deliverables, and unplanned communication gaps.

7. Reporting, Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish clear KPIs for PR coverage, social media performance, paid campaigns, and communication initiatives.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports evaluating performance against approved objectives.
  • Track media mentions, publication quality, audience engagement, campaign results, and brand visibility.

  • Maintain records of media coverage, campaign results, advertising expenditure, and communication deliverables.
  • Use data-driven insights to improve future planning and demonstrate the effectiveness of marketing communications.

8. Ownership, Commitment & Accountability

  • Take full responsibility for the planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of assigned communication activities.
  • Ensure annual plans are translated into consistent, measurable execution throughout the year.
  • Meet agreed deadlines and proactively address delays, risks, and operational challenges.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate initiative by identifying opportunities, proposing new ideas, and taking action without constant supervision.
  • Coordinate effectively with management and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth approvals and timely delivery.
  • Remain accountable for campaign outcomes, communication quality, and the effective use of approved budgets.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
