The Role

As a Product Portfolio, Data & Analytics Specialist reporting to the Sr Director, Product Portfolio Operations & Transformation, you will operate at the intersection of strategy, business, technology, and analytics. You will build and run the engine behind the Financial Technology division’s capital allocation process and decisions, translating complex portfolio and financial data into strategic insights and clear business recommendations. You will own the data workflows and analytics that turn our investment portfolio into a comparable and decision-ready view, partnering closely with Finance, Product Strategy, and Product Engineering to support well-informed and structured capital allocation decisions.

You will thrive in this position if you are equally comfortable working with financial models, data and analytics, and strategic business questions. This is not a purely technical role: you will be expected to connect analysis with business context, identify strategic implications, and communicate actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders. You care about accuracy and traceability, enjoy building processes and dashboards that leaders use to make decisions, and bring either practical experience with AI or a strong and genuine interest in applying it to portfolio analysis and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and run the portfolio data set-up - the business-case / financial dataset, portfolio taxonomy, and the underlying data model and sources.
  • Run the business case approval process end to end, in collaboration with the finance team: intake, sign-off forms, RACI, review cadence, and linkage back to financial forecasting.
  • Develop strategic portfolio views by analyzing capital allocation against key business priorities, including investment, capacity, horizon mix, and value realization; translate findings into recommendations that support portfolio construction and trade-off decisions.
  • Implement and maintain the Operational and Transformation KPI dashboard in partnership with Finance.
  • Support the development of key business cases as needed, partnering with Finance and Strategy.
  • Prepare portfolio materials, strategic insights, and recommendations for quarterly and annual planning cycles and senior management forums.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business analytics, engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate finance, FP&A, business analytics, investment analysis, or a comparable role combining analytical work with strategic business decision-making.
  • Strong strategic and financial acumen, with experience in areas such as strategy development and evaluation, business case construction, investment assessment, and translating analysis into business recommendations.
  • Strong data and analytics capability, including Excel modelling and BI or visualization tools such as Power BI, with the ability to structure datasets and automate reporting. Working knowledge of AI tools and applications, or a genuine interest in developing this capability and applying AI to analysis, reporting, and business processes, is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and running recurring business processes with multiple stakeholders and governance layers.
  • High attention to detail with a strong bias for accuracy, traceability and auditable calculations.
  • Ability to work across global teams and time zones.
  • Excellent communication skills (English), with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations for senior audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MSc in Finance or Analytics) or relevant certification.
  • Experience in financial services, fintech or software, and familiarity with product P&L and capital-allocation frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of planning or financial systems (e.g., Anaplan).

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
