The posting

As a Specialist in Client Managed Services – Business Services, reporting to Director - Client Managed Services, you'll play a critical role in delivering first-line functional support to Nasdaq's cloud clients, helping them get maximum value from the Calypso platform.

You'll thrive in this position if you're client-focused, analytically sharp, and passionate about capital markets — with the ability to work across global teams and complex financial environments to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary functional contact for cloud clients, supporting their day-to-day use of Calypso across front office, treasury, risk, compliance, operations, and accounting.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve operational issues reported by client users, identifying root causes and recommending solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Review and advise on clients' functional configuration of the Calypso platform, implementing approved changes as needed.
  • Monitor scheduled task execution, real-time interface exceptions, and system performance, escalating and coordinating fixes where required.
  • Partner with internal product support teams to document, validate, and prioritize software defects and hotfix deployments in client test environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven years of experience in the capital markets sector, with a background in Business Analysis or Operations.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products including Fixed Income, Equity and Interest Rate Derivatives, Commodities, FX, Structured Products, and Futures and Options — including pricing, settlement, and lifecycle management.
  • Solid understanding of risk, pricing analytics, P&L reporting, settlement processing, book structure, accounting, and collateral management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage clearly with global clients and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional qualification such as CFA, IMC, CISI, or equivalent postgraduate finance certification.
  • Hands-on experience with Calypso or comparable platforms such as Murex, Finastra (Summit or Kondor+), Aladdin, or SimCorp.
  • Familiarity with market data sources, third-party systems, and regulatory frameworks affecting investment banks and asset managers.

This position will be located in Wroclaw and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
