The posting

Talent Acquisition Partner, Engineering Recruiter

Hyderabad, India · Hybrid (3 days in office) · Reports to the Director, Global Talent Acquisition

We’re looking for a recruiter who would rather make twenty calls than wait for one good applicant.

Nasuni is growing its India Innovation Center in Hyderabad. The people who join it over the next couple of years will shape what our product becomes. We need someone who wants to be the reason they say yes.

Nasuni is a Vista Equity Partners backed high growth SaaS Data Infrastructure company. We hired over 120 in Hyderabad in past 12 months. Our HQ is in Boston, and we have offices in Cork, London, and Hyderabad. We made 2 recent acquisitions, Resilio and DryvIQ, that position us well to grow significantly this year. Nasuni has over 700 employees globally.

The searches are hard. We hire engineers who work on file systems, distributed storage, and cloud infrastructure. In Hyderabad, every one of them is hearing from a dozen other product companies and GCCs. You’ll find people who aren’t looking, get them on the phone, and give them a real reason to keep talking.

If you’ve done this at a staffing agency, in a sourcing role, or while carrying a sales target, you already know the rhythm. Here, you’ll grow into owning the whole recruiting process, from the first conversation with a hiring manager to the day the offer is signed.

What you’ll do

  • Run your own open roles from start to finish. That covers intake, sourcing, screening, interview loops, offers, and close. You’ll juggle several searches at once and know where each one stands. We’ll help you learn the stages you haven’t owned before.
  • Lead the kick-off meeting for every new search. You’ll work with hiring managers to define what a great hire looks like, discuss the market, and agree on a plan. Sometimes you’ll need to tell an engineering leader that their wish list doesn’t exist at that salary—in a way they’ll thank you for.
  • Pick up the phone, a lot. Cold calls, referral calls, follow-ups, and “you said not now six months ago, so I’m checking in” calls. LinkedIn Recruiter and Naukri help you find people. The phone is where you win them.
  • Screen with growing technical understanding. You’ll learn to separate a strong engineering match from a strong keyword list, and know when to ask an engineer for help.
  • Use AI as part of how you work. Use approved tools, including Claude or ChatGPT where appropriate, to map talent pools, research competitor teams, draft outreach, and spot where a pipeline is stalling. Check the outputs for accuracy, fairness, and privacy before using them.
  • Keep Greenhouse clean and know your numbers. Watch pipeline conversion, time to fill, and offer acceptance. Bring useful data to your hiring managers before they ask for it.
  • Handle candidate information, feedback, and offers with discretion. Follow hiring compliance and data privacy processes, and know when to bring in HR or Legal.
  • Work across time zones. Partner with hiring managers in Hyderabad and across our global teams in Europe and United States.

The tech you’ll learn to speak

You don’t need to write code, but you should be curious about how Engineers build Software Products. Within your first few months, though, you should be able to hold your own with an engineering manager.

Our teams work in C++, C#/.NET, Python, Linux, Cloud Services, Microservices, and Serverless environments.

  • Some build the datapath and file system at the core of our platform, where performance and reliability are everything.
  • Others work on distributed systems and microservices running in the public cloud.
  • Others build the data analytics and AI automation on top.

A senior C++ engineer with storage internals experience and a Python developer building automation pipelines are different searches. They come from different talent pools and have different reasons to move. Learning those differences is part of the job, and our engineers are glad to teach you.

You might be a great fit if

  • You have 2+ years in technical recruiting at an agency, staffing firm, or RPO; a dedicated sourcing role; or a target-driven sales or customer-facing role. If you’re coming from sales, we’ll want to hear how you built pipeline and closed.
  • You like the phone. You’d rather call someone than send a fourth InMail.
  • You’ve hit tough targets, and you can tell us exactly how.
  • You’re curious about technology and learn fast. When you hear a term you don’t know, you’ve looked it up by the end of the day.
  • You use AI tools in your work and can show how they help—and how you check their work.
  • You’ve worked in an ATS or learned enough new digital systems that Greenhouse won’t slow you down.
  • You can present to senior people, ask useful questions, and keep a meeting on track.
  • You’re as comfortable with details as you are with people: rapport on calls in the morning, offer data in the afternoon.
  • People trust you with confidential information, and you understand that hiring carries legal and compliance obligations.
  • You would enjoy working from our Hyderabad office three days a week and being among our growing 110+ Employee team in our 1st class office space.

Bonus points

  • You’ve recruited for a SaaS or product company, or for a GCC in Hyderabad.
  • You’ve hired backend, cloud, data, AI, storage, security, or infrastructure engineers.
  • You’ve built a professional community or network that people turn to for career advice.
  • You know Hyderabad’s tech scene: the companies, meetups, campuses, and communities where engineers spend their time.
  • You’ve used Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, or Naukri.

What your first six months could look like

Month one: Learn our product, sit in on engineering conversations, begin sourcing, and get comfortable in Greenhouse, start developing a great talent pipeline.

Months two and three: Lead kick-off meetings, own your first searches with support where you need it.

Month six: Run a full set of requisitions and have hires you’re proud of. Hiring managers will call you before they open a role, because they want your read on the market first.

Why this role

This is a real corporate Talent Acquisition Partner role, not a coordinator job with a bigger title. You’ll own searches, advise leaders, and see the people you hired go on to build things.

You’ll join a TA team that shares what works, celebrates closes, and helps each other when a search gets stuck. And you’ll do it while our Hyderabad team is still taking shape, which means you’ll help decide who it becomes.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
