Job Description

Our Natixis Trainee Program is designed to hire and empower young talent, through continuous learning and on-the-job training. It offers you a unique opportunity to learn from teams that are global players, while upgrading your skills in a thrilling and inspiring workplace.

The Internship structure consists of the following three phases. The first two phases correspond to our Academy, built in partnership with PRO_MOV (IEFP and CESAE Digital).

  • ~2 months of Classroom Training, where you will explore essential industry topics in a classroom setting at Natixis Porto office.
  • ~3 months of On-the-job Training, where you will officially join the Natixis team and gain practical skills relevant to your future role.
  • 6 months of Natixis Professional Internship, where you will be fully integrated into the Natixis team that selected you.

The first season of the Natixis Trainee Program 2027 is scheduled to begin between April and May 2027, so you must be available full-time during those months and thereafter.

Important Note: The recruitment process for this campaign will take place between December 2026 and March 2027. Please do not be concerned if you apply early and are only contacted towards the last months of the recruitment period.

If you’ve pursued a degree in Computer Science or other related fields, here are the key areas where you can apply your knowledge and kickstart your career in IT:

  • Development: Immerse yourself in the world of software development. Our teams primarily work with Java or C#, but our tech stack is extensive. Whether you’re a coding enthusiast or looking to broaden your skill set, we have projects that will inspire you and align with your interests.
  • DevOps & SysAdmin: If you’re fascinated by the intersection of development and operations, this is your opportunity to learn in a fast-paced environment. Join our DevOps & SysAdmin teams to work on diverse projects that may include Application Support, Quality Assurance or Networks.
  • Business Intelligence & Analytics: Become the vital bridge between IT and Baking Teams. If your background is in one of these areas, we’ll equip you with the knowledge and skills to excel in both.
  • Cybersecurity: Step into the critical field of Information Security. Join our cybersecurity team to learn how to safeguard our systems and data, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our digital assets.
  • Data: Delve into the realms of Database, Architecture, Data Engineering or Data Science.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old;
  • Proficiency in English (minimum B1 level);
  • Proficiency in Portuguese (minimum B1 level);
  • Academic background in Computer Science or other IT-related fields;
  • Hold a valid Portuguese diploma or an international diploma with official equivalence in Portugal;
  • Availability for a full-time internship (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM), with at least 2 days per week at our Porto office.
