Job Description

The Media Group at NBCU supports a powerhouse collection of consumer-first brands including Peacock, NBC, Bravo, NBC Sports, and NBCU International. With unequalled scale, our teams make the most out of every opportunity to collaborate and learn from one another. We’re always looking for ways to innovate faster, accelerate our growth and consistently offer the very best in consumer experience. But most of all, we’re backed by a culture of respect. We embrace authenticity and inspire people to thrive.

The Media Group’s Growth Strategy team is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and championing key growth initiatives for the Media Group with a particular focus on Peacock. Our work focuses on strategic questions sourced directly from Chief Growth Officer Will Gonzalez and Media Group Growth leaders. Prioritized initiatives are key contributors to the broader organization’s financial goals and receive substantial leadership attention throughout their development, deployment, and optimization. By nature, Growth Strategy is a highly collaborative organization – partnering cross-functionally to analyze the latest data, align the organization to winning business strategies, and bring prioritized initiatives to market.

About the Role

Growth Strategy’s Monetization & Innovation team is hiring a Manager to drive key workstreams around pricing, packaging, and offers strategy. The Manager will report into the VP, Monetization & Innovation and collaborate other team members to evaluate new monetization opportunities, support prioritized initiatives through deployment, and optimize operational initiatives. Through their contributions to the organization’s core DTC monetization strategy, this role will have outsized impact on Media Group growth and financial performance.

The role is ideal for an analytically rigorous, intellectually curious professional with a strong grasp of the streaming landscape and a desire to contribute to high-impact strategy work in a fast-moving environment. Because our recommendations touch day-to-day operations across the organization, the role demands both analytical depth and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders from Finance, Decision Sciences, Product, Marketing, and Growth. The role will require the individual to:

  • Drive growth and monetization opportunity assessments through data analysis and financial modeling, translating inputs into clear, actionable outputs
  • Manage research and analysis to support the ongoing optimization of Peacock's pricing architecture, product offering, and offers strategy
  • Ideate new opportunities based on evolving AI-enabled commerce activity, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape
  • Synthesize and report on competitive activity across the streaming landscape, tracking pricing and packaging changes, offer positioning and capabilities, and go-to-market shifts
  • Partner with Decision Sciences and Finance teams to size greenlit initiatives, track progress towards their targets, and enable a strategic feedback loop to business teams to improve go-forward decision-making
  • Collaborate with Decision Sciences, Product, Marketing, and Growth colleagues to continually improve the offer capabilities and underlying strategy for Peacock
  • Help lead the deployment of AI-enabled research and analytical tools to improve team velocity and efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, STEM, or related fields with 5+ years of experience in Strategy or Finance, ideally with exposure to media, streaming, or a related consumer industry
  • Familiarity with the evolving streaming landscape, including key players, business models, and commercial tactics
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, prioritizing effectively and deliver high-quality work with minimal oversight
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy across both quantitative and qualitative deliverables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex findings into clear summaries for senior stakeholders
  • Experience with or interest in AI-enabled research and productivity tools is a plus

Desired Characteristics

  • Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive, self-directed work style
  • An excellent grasp of media economics and industry trends
  • Exceptional Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Strong project management skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
  • This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
