Billing & Revenue Assurance Supervisor

Location: Frisco, TX | Full-Time | On-Site

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Billing & Revenue Assurance Supervisor to lead a team responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of customer billing and payment data.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people, solving complex billing issues, improving processes, and using data to drive results. You will supervise a team of 7+ employees while partnering across Revenue Assurance, Audit, Finance, Operations, and other business teams to strengthen billing controls, reduce revenue leakage, resolve escalated issues, and identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate combines strong people leadership, analytical thinking, billing or revenue assurance experience, and a continuous-improvement mindset.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 7+ employees, creating clear expectations and accountability for performance.
  • Coordinate daily workflow, prioritize assignments, and ensure service and operational commitments are met.
  • Establish and monitor team metrics and key performance indicators to measure accuracy, productivity, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Address performance, attendance, and workflow issues while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex billing, payment, and customer issues.

Billing & Revenue Assurance

  • Oversee the accurate and timely calculation and delivery of billing and payment data used for customer invoicing.
  • Help identify and prevent billing errors, revenue leakage, payment discrepancies, and process breakdowns.
  • Partner with Revenue Assurance Audit teams to investigate billing and payment issues, determine root causes, and drive resolution.
  • Support the development of controls and audit procedures that strengthen data integrity and billing accuracy.
  • Interpret customer contracts and work with internal partners to resolve billing and payment questions.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual work, improve controls, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Partner cross-functionally to implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Use performance data and trends to identify recurring issues and recommend sustainable solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve Standard Operating Procedures to support consistent execution and knowledge sharing.
  • Build strong understanding of upstream and downstream processes to improve integration across teams.

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • At least 2 years of people management, team leadership, and/or workflow coordination experience.
  • Experience in billing operations, revenue assurance, financial operations, payments, audit, or a related function.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex issues and identify root causes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong independent decision-making and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external customers.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting high-volume or complex customer billing environments.
  • Experience with revenue assurance, billing audit, revenue leakage prevention, reconciliations, or payment operations.
  • Experience developing operational metrics, dashboards, or performance reporting.
  • Experience identifying automation and process-improvement opportunities.
  • Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures and operational controls.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access or similar data-management/reporting tools.

What Will Make You Successful

You’ll thrive in this role if you are someone who:

  • Leads through accountability and coaching, not just task management.
  • Can move comfortably between people leadership and detailed problem-solving.
  • Naturally asks, “Why did this happen, and how do we prevent it from happening again?”
  • Uses data and metrics to make decisions and improve team performance.
  • Can translate complex billing or operational issues into clear actions.
  • Looks for opportunities to automate, simplify, and strengthen processes.
  • Builds strong partnerships across functions while maintaining a high standard for accuracy.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
