About Factory

Our mission is to create a world where software builds and improves itself.

We build the platform for self-improving software development, helping the world's largest enterprise engineering teams turn their organizations into autonomous software factories. Customers including Nvidia, Blackstone, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Palo Alto Networks, Adobe, and T-Mobile run Factory to ship code, review PRs, run tests, and deploy continuously - getting smarter with every cycle.

In 2026, we raised $200M at a $5B valuation, bringing our total funding to over $400M. We are backed by world-class investors and operators including Khosla Ventures, Sequoia, Blackstone, Ali Ghodsi (CEO of Databricks), and Frank Slootman (Former CEO of Snowflake).

About the Role

As the PM for Growth at Factory, you’ll own our overall approach to get users active and productive on the platform.

You’ll be responsible for our activation metric: how do we measure what it means to be an activated user, and how do we get more users to that point and beyond, whether they’re coming from our self-serve product or onboarding via an enterprise deployment.

And you’ll own our self-serve product offering: what we provide as part of it, how we price and package it, the role it plays in our broader company strategy, and how we should evaluate its success.

There won’t be a single “growth” engineering team to work with—you’ll operate across multiple engineering pods and work closely with our Marketing, BizOps, and Deployment functions to make sure we’re doing the right things to create more happy Factory users.

You’ll need a strong thesis for what makes a compelling early software factory experience in a competitive market, and an opinion about how PLG best reinforces a top-down Enterprise motion. You’ll need sharp technical instincts, genuine empathy for developers, and the ability to make fast, high-quality decisions in ambiguity. You should be as comfortable diving into technical architecture discussions as you are presenting roadmap priorities to leadership.

Our goal with the product function at Factory is to be high-leverage, high-ownership, and hands-on—you can expect to be working directly with the C-suite at the largest companies in the world, and shipping improvements directly to the product. And you’ll be central to defining the role of Product in a software factory-driven organization—a pattern we intend to pioneer and then help distribute across our customer base and the broader industry.

What You Will Do and Achieve

  • Own the roadmap for multiple major areas of our product
  • Partner closely with customers and work closely with data to understand pain points and translate them into product improvements.
  • Work with engineering and research to ship features that keep Factory at the frontier of AI-powered development.
  • Build frameworks and processes that scale as the product team grows.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience spanning product and engineering roles, including a deep developer tools background or at least one year in an engineering role
  • Experience leading Growth teams in an Enterprise context, bringing a fast-paced and scientific mindset to product development.
  • Strong technical foundation, with experience partnering closely with engineering teams to design, build, and ship complex technical products.
  • Proven ability to drive product launches, from concept through release, with evidence of meaningful user adoption or commercial impact.
  • Actively engaged with the AI ecosystem, staying current on coding agents, model capabilities, and emerging industry trends through hands-on experimentation.Thrive in fast-moving, high-ambiguity environments and take ownership end-to-end.

The team works in the office 5 days a week in San Francisco (walking distance to Caltrain).

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
