  • Consolidate budget submissions and validate completeness, consistency with planning guidelines, and alignment with revised employee mapping.
  • Update budget and forecast projections to reflect approved employee mapping changes and associated costs.
  • Prepare management analyses comparing proposed budgets with current-year forecasts and prior-year actuals.
  • Develop and compare planning scenarios, documenting assumptions, financial drivers, and variances.
  • Support management reviews by providing clear financial analysis and supporting documentation.

  • Develop a process to track approved headcount budgets, committed costs, and remaining departmental funding using Ashby.
  • Establish a review process for new role requests, requiring department leaders to identify offsetting funding within existing budgets.
  • Develop a framework for evaluating role substitutions, including scenarios in which higher-cost positions require funding from multiple planned positions.
  • Document approval requirements and maintain updated headcount plans and forecasts to reflect approved changes.

5. Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) Forecasting

  • Support bi-weekly ARR forecasting by collecting inputs, updating projections, and validating assumptions.
  • Analyze changes from previous forecasts and identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Update revenue and billings forecasts based on revised ARR projections and timing assumptions.
  • Refine billings assumptions and forecasting methodologies.
  • Prepare supporting financial analyses and commentary for management review.
  • Document forecasting processes, including data sources, assumptions, responsibilities, timelines, and the impact of ARR changes on revenue and billings.

6. ARR, ACV, and Billings Alignment

  • Support the alignment of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Annual Contract Value (ACV), and billings with established metric definitions.
  • Document existing metric definitions, compare them with the applicable target definitions, and quantify discrepancies.
  • Assist in developing reconciliation bridges between current and aligned metrics.
  • Support the restatement of historical and forecasted figures using revised metric definitions.

7. Financial Reporting and Analysis

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
