Stage Broadcast IT Support Engineer

Ben jij breed onderlegd in IT en geïnteresseerd in broadcasting? Wil jij werken met de mix van Broadcast, IT en Graphics technieken op onze locaties voor programma’s als Viaplay F1 en Voetbal, RTL Nieuws, ESPN Voetbal en zelfs het Eurovisie Songfestival? Wij zijn op zoek naar een Broadcast IT Support Engineer (Graphics) stagiair.

Als stagiair wordt je onderdeel van het Graphics Live Support team. Dit team houdt zich bezig met het ondersteunen van de afdeling Graphics bij voornamelijk televisieproducties. Deze afdeling houdt zich bezig met uiteenlopende werkzaamheden als het in beeld brengen van een simpel titeltje tot het opleveren en bedienen van complete virtuele studio’s (Augmented Reality), zoals de F1 shows van Viaplay! Het Graphics Live Support team is verantwoordelijk voor de hardware en software waar we dit allemaal mee tevoorschijn toveren.

De functie die jij zal gaan bekleden is zeer afwisselend en varieert van supportwerkzaamheden tot het technisch opbouwen van- en het support leveren op graphics-installaties voor studio's. Je zal je bezig gaan houden met computertechniek, zoals het opzetten van workstations, het aanleggen van lokale netwerken en het oplossen van storingen, maar ook de aansluiting op Broadcast apparatuur als regiewagens, camera's, audio en nog veel meer. Zo gebruiken we technieken om bijvoorbeeld onze studiocamera’s om te toveren tot “game controllers” en een virtuele laag over de studio heen te leggen.

  • Wil jezelf continu blijven ontwikkelen op technisch vlak. Bij ons staat de techniek namelijk niet stil! Je hebt affiniteit met computer hard- en software, AV hard- en software, netwerktechniek en bent in staat oplossingsgericht te denken;
  • Bent klantvriendelijk, servicegericht, hebt een groot verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en vindt het leuk om met klanten te schakelen. Tijdens je werkzaamheden zal je direct contact hebben met de klant;
  • Wil graag werken in teamverband en bent communicatief sterk;
  • Bent flexibel inzetbaar en hebt geen 9 tot 5 mentaliteit. De omgeving waarin je komt te werken is een 24/7 business waarin we continuïteit waarborgen. Er kan gevraagd worden om avond- of weekendwerk te verrichten;
  • Bent stressbestendig en houdt je hoofd koel in situaties;
