The posting

At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.

About the Role

As the Ads Measurement Lead, you will help to guide and execute the measurement strategy for Netflix Live Sports and Live Entertainment, serving as the dedicated point of contact for live research and measurement, cross-functional live stakeholders engagement, and 3P vendor management. You will bring deep expertise in live sports measurement and translate the strategy, methodologies, and currency models built for linear sports into a streaming-native approach. You will help lead Netflix's evolution toward alternative and first-party impression-based audience measurement and programmatic activation of live sports inventory. You will translate Live events on Netflix to our story-telling and weave that into what makes Netflix Live Events a must-buy for advertisers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end ad measurement strategy and execution for specific Netflix Live Sports events, including methodology evaluation, estimate generation, delivery & reporting, cross-functional stakeholder coordination, and post-event insights.
  • Support the design and execution of custom surveys for Netflix Live Events along with leveraging syndicated research in story-telling insights for live event viewership narratives.
  • Collaborate on and partner to evolve Netflix's approach to alternative measurement solutions for Live including first-party, impression-based measurement for live sports, and how that shift changes how inventory is estimated and reported on.
  • Partner cross-functionally on programmatic strategy for live sports, including how dynamic ad insertion and real-time delivery affect measurement and reporting.
  • Develop marketplace POV and thought leadership on sports media trends, sports viewership and fandom, methodology advancements, and competitive benchmarks in sports measurement and currency evolution.
  • Serve as the dedicated internal lead for cross-functional stakeholder communication, vendor relationship management, and industry/ partnership management.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including Market Activation and Ads Marketing to shape the external UCAN narrative and position the Netflix Ad Tier and Netflix Live Events as a must-buy for advertisers.

About You

  • 10+ years of experience in media research and audience measurement strategy, with a strong grounding in live sports and linear-to-streaming translation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Live sports marketplace, consumer insights and viewership trends.
  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of existing third-party audience measurement solutions and first-party measurement approaches for live events in streaming.
  • Direct experience managing Vendor relationships for Live Events and evolving alternative or impression-based measurement.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic dynamics as they apply to live sports, including dynamic ad insertion and real-time inventory.
  • Proven ability to independently drive strategic measurement projects and synthesize complex data into clear recommendations.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, partnering with content stakeholders, product and engineering teams, live operations teams, marketing, comms, sales, and external vendors.
  • Excellent executive communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the advertising and media landscape, including advertiser needs and industry trends.
  • Builder's mindset, proactive and eager to shape the future of live sports measurement at Netflix.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
