The posting

At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.

Netflix Games is looking for a Senior Portfolio Operations Manager to build the tools, data solutions, and rhythms that keep our games portfolio clear to the teams who support it. You'll design scalable tools and workflows, use AI to cut manual work and improve reporting, and lead the change management that lets the business adapt quickly.

Netflix Games is building the next generation of games for a worldwide audience. The Games portfolio sits where many teams across Netflix meet: Content, Marketing, Legal, Technology, Discovery, and more. Portfolio Operations Management is the connective tissue that keeps those teams in sync with what's happening across the portfolio.

We don't direct how games are made. We support the layer around them. We run shared portfolio tooling, keep portfolio state visible through reporting and monitoring, set and share the frameworks and standards that cross team boundaries, and help Games Leadership and cross-functional partners turn their needs into working processes.

The ideal candidate lives at the crossroads of program management and data solutions: equally comfortable leading a cross-functional program and designing the data model that powers it. You can effectively translate game production and development for non-production audiences, giving partners in Legal, Marketing, Finance, and Business Development the context they need to act. You'll develop, support, and improve the relational systems our partners rely on as their source of truth, find where AI and automation can remove friction, and deliver solutions that keep teams effortlessly connected. You're comfortable with ambiguity, you build trusting partnerships, and you prefer lightweight, scalable processes over heavy governance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, scope, and operationalize cross-functional programs and projects involving multiple stakeholders with limited oversight.
  • Build and maintain scalable tools and workflows in our relational Airtable database: develop data models, build automations, and design interfaces.
  • Run regular audits to consolidate or retire redundant fields, tables, views, and automations, keeping systems performant, secure, and easy to navigate.
  • Use AI tools and agents for operational efficiency, workflow optimization, and intuitive reporting. Find high-leverage opportunities, prototype quickly, and bring proven solutions into production.
  • Improve portfolio reporting and data monitoring so Games Leadership and partners have accurate, timely visibility to ground and support their decisions.
  • Translate game production and development concepts (lifecycle phases, gates, milestones, live operations) into clear, actionable context for Games Leadership and non-production partners.
  • Own data hygiene and accuracy across the tools you support. Monitor health, fix what's broken, and help users serve themselves.
  • Turn a partner's need into a working process. Know when a tool, automation, playbook, workflow, report, or ritual is the right answer.
  • Own change management for rollouts, updates, and deprecations: testing, communication, training, adoption, and support - each grounded in a clear what, who, and why with confirmed buy-in.
  • Bring prioritized, evidence-backed feature requests and user stories to internal tooling and platform product and engineering owners on behalf of the portfolio.
  • Scope incoming work with discipline. Prioritize work that supports multiple users and that is backed by clear business objectives.
  • Write durable runbooks, training, and documentation so systems and rhythms outlast any one person.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in operations, program management, business systems, or a related field. Games experience preferred, but not required.
  • Hands-on experience designing and maintaining relational databases and the workflows built on them. Advanced Airtable experience (schema design, linked records, automations, scripting, interfaces) strongly preferred.
  • A track record of building scalable internal tools, automations, or reporting that other teams enthusiastically adopt and rely on.
  • Practical experience using AI tools (LLMs, agents, AI-assisted automation) to improve operations, workflows, or reporting, with good judgment about where AI adds value and where it doesn't.
  • Strong data skills: modeling, hygiene, and turning raw data into clear, decision-ready reporting. SQL, scripting (JavaScript or Python), or BI tool experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles, data quality standards, and metadata management.
  • Proven change management skills, landing rollouts across many stakeholders with measurable adoption.
  • Ability to translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements and user stories for product and engineering teams.
  • Clear, proactive communicator who builds lasting partnerships across leadership, production, development, and highly matrixed cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, with a people-over-process mindset and a bias toward lightweight, adoptable solutions.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
