The posting
About us
neuefische GmbH, with its brands neuefische and Spiced Academy, has been Germany’s leading provider of technology bootcamps for 10 years.
Our programs empower people to pursue careers they love and drive skills transformation across Germany. To date, we’ve trained over 7,000 participants, with around 70% finding a job right after graduation.
With more than 40% women in our courses, we foster not only talent but also diversity in tech. Many of our programs also include certifications from IHK, Amazon, CompTIA, and other key partners.
Our vision: to transform lives by equipping people with the skills, confidence, and support to succeed in tech—delivered through outstanding teaching both online and on campus, in German and English.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for someone to help more people find their way to us through events, organic social media and referrals. What you’ll do
- Find, pitch and manage partners such as career coaches, expat platforms, job portals, universities, communities and companies, and track what each partnership delivers
- Plan and run online and on-campus info sessions, workshops, open houses and alumni meetups
- Own our organic social media channels, turn student and alumni stories into content, and report on what works
- Grow and look after our student and alumni community, and give alumni reasons to stay involved
- Rebuild our student and alumni referral program: incentives, process and tracking
- Grow the number of honest reviews on Google and other review platforms, reply to them in our voice, and pass recurring feedback to the right teams
- Data-driven optimisation: you measure the results of your activities and use the data to improve them
We’ll shape the role around you
This is a broad role, and we know few people have done all of these things. If you’re strong in some areas and new to others, apply anyway. Depending on who we meet, we may adapt the scope or split it into two roles, for example one focused on events and partnerships and another on organic social media and community. Tell us in your application where you’d want to focus.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Several years of experience in brand management, event management, community management, partnerships or social media, ideally in education or tech
- A creative feel for storytelling and for writing in a way that fits each audience
- A hands-on mindset: you run projects on your own and enjoy trying out new ideas
- You like talking to people, and you follow up
- You can run an event from idea to follow-up without things slipping
- Fluent German and English, written and spoken
- You live in Berlin or are willing to move here for this role
Nice to have: experience with HubSpot or another CRM, social media management tools, short-form video, the Bildungsgutschein system, or having changed careers yourself.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Real ownership of channels that are a company priority
- A small, hands-on marketing team that works closely with Admissions, Career Services and our B2G team
- Work that matters: you help people start new careers
- Flexible working hours
- A personal learning budget
- 30 days holiday
- Pet-friendly environment
How to apply
Send us your CV and a few lines (no formal cover letter needed) on which areas excite you most and something you’ve built or grown that you’re proud of. Links to events, communities or channels you’ve run are very welcome.
* Even if you feel like ticking only 60% of the requirements, we would still like to review your application. At neuefische, we attach great importance to equal opportunities and respectful cooperation. All applicants should be valued equally - regardless of gender and gender identity, nationality, ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age, sexual orientation and identity. We value diversity and we are committed to integration and diversity.
