The posting

Who we are

neuefische GmbH, with its brands neuefische and Spiced Academy, has been Germany’s leading provider of technology bootcamps for 10 years.

Our programs empower people to pursue careers they love and drive skills transformation across Germany. To date, we’ve trained over 7,000 participants, with around 70% finding a job right after graduation.

With more than 40% women in our courses, we foster not only talent but also diversity in tech. Many of our programs also include certifications from IHK, Amazon, CompTIA, and other key partners.

Our vision: to transform lives by equipping people with the skills, confidence, and support to succeed in tech—delivered through outstanding teaching both online and on campus, in German and English.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a technical Product Management background, gained building AI products in close collaboration with engineering and data teams. Our teaching team has already redesigned the curriculum of our 16-week AI Product Management course, with learning objectives defined for every session. The SME will complete the content: building new learning materials, updating existing ones, and creating the exercises, case labs and assessments that bring the curriculum to life.

This is a revamp, not a new product: much of the content already exists in our current course and sister programmes and needs to be reshaped to the new objectives. We expect the work to be done AI-assisted (for example with Claude), which is what makes the timeline realistic.

This person must be hands-on, structured and accountable for quality, and a team player who stays in close, constant communication with our teaching team. The content prepares learners, a mixed cohort of product and product-adjacent professionals, not all of them technical but also expected to get technical knowledge during the course, to work as AI Product and Project Managers.

The content goes well beyond theory or tool usage. It will enable learners to:

  • Discover, frame and prioritise AI opportunities, and decide when AI is the right solution and when it is not
  • Design AI experiences with clear fallbacks, human review and success metrics
  • Work confidently with engineering and data teams: read data, run experiments, and evaluate models, LLM outputs, RAG systems and agents
  • Make cost, risk and compliance decisions (EU AI Act, GDPR) and take AI features from prototype to launch and operations

Graduates should be able to own an AI feature end to end, closing the gap between understanding AI and shipping it responsibly.

What is already in place

  • The redesigned curriculum: 12 teaching weeks with 81 sessions, plus a 4-week team capstone
  • Defined primary and secondary learning objectives for each session, and a rework status (Create new, Deepen, Reduce, Keep)
  • Existing course materials, plus relevant materials from two sister programmes (Product Management with AI, Digital & AI Transformation Management)
  • House templates and a teaching team that reviews each content batch (expected tools: Slidev, Github, Noiton, Miro)

How we work

  • Kickoff with the teaching team to agree priorities, formats and templates
  • First batch of about one week of course content, with in-depth feedback; after that you work independently in batches delivered on a weekly frequency and aligned in calls with the team.
  • Review meeting and revision rounds
  • Shared technical work: for statistics and other technical topics, the teaching team proposes examples or builds parts directly, so you can focus on the product perspective
  • Fixed project budget, not hourly;

Core tasks

  1. Plan the content per session. Review the existing and sister-programme materials and propose, for each session, what to reuse, adapt or build, including how to resolve topic overlaps across the curriculum.
  2. Build new session content . Create new: lecture, pre-work exercise and solution for every session against the objectives already defined.
  3. Update existing content. Deepen sessions with the AI PM angle and new exercises.
  4. Build high-impact practical tasks and assessments. Case labs with realistic, synthetic and GDPR-safe datasets; project briefs with templates, rubrics and sample deliverables.
  5. Write a coach page for every session so any instructor can teach it: objectives, run sheet with timings, key messages and common learner questions following the company’s standards and provided templates.
  6. Keep the content industry-relevant and future-ready, reflecting current AI product practice, tools such as Claude Code, and the evolving regulatory landscape.

Required

  • Proven hands-on Product Management experience, including shipping AI or ML-powered features in production in close collaboration with engineering and data teams
  • Practical fluency in the product side of AI: opportunity assessment, AI UX and fallbacks, metrics and experimentation, AI cost and vendor decisions, launch and monitoring
  • Comfortable with the technical basics the course teaches non-technical learners: SQL, Python notebooks (pandas), statistics, A/B testing, causality, Marketing Mixed Models, Git, and AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code
  • Highly proficient in AI-assisted content production (for example with Claude): you turn learning objectives into slides, exercises and examples quickly, while owning their accuracy
  • Strong communicator and team player, comfortable working in short feedback loops with a teaching team
  • Prior experience in course development or professional training, ideally for bootcamp or career-changer audiences, is highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of the EU AI Act and GDPR in a product context is a plus
  • Fluent written English; German is a plus

* Even if you feel like ticking only 60% of the requirements, we would still like to review your application. At neuefische, we attach great importance to equal opportunities and respectful cooperation. All applicants should be valued equally - regardless of gender and gender identity, nationality, ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age, sexual orientation and identity. We value diversity and we are committed to integration and diversity.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
