Gemeinsam schaffen wir den Schritt in eine neue Ära Kognitiver Roboter:

Als Experte für Reinforcement Learning und Behavior Cloning für humanoide Roboter bei NEURA Robotics leitest Du die Entwicklung und Implementierung von hochmodernen Algorithmen und Systemen. Du wirst eng mit unserem Robotik-Engineering-Team zusammenarbeiten, um die Autonomie, Anpassungsfähigkeit und Interaktionsmöglichkeiten unserer humanoiden Roboter zu verbessern. Dies beinhaltet:

- Du verbesserst die Learning-Pipeline für robuste Lokomotion und Loco-Manipulation auf dem 4NE1 Humanoid – von der Policy-Trainingsphase bis hin zur validierten Deployment auf realer Hardware

- Du evaluierst und adaptierst State-of-the-Art-Methoden (z. B. Behavior Foundation Models, General Motion Tracking, Teleoperation) und bringst diese in die Anwendung für Kunden und interne Teams

- Du treibst den Sim-to-Real-Transfer voran (z. B. Domain Randomization, Aktuatormodellierung, Physikabstimmung), um Policies aus der Simulation mit minimalem Performanceverlust auf reale Roboter zu bringen

- Du integrierst Reinforcement Learning und Behavior Cloning, damit Roboter sowohl aus Simulation als auch aus realen Interaktionen lernen können

- Du arbeitest eng mit den Controls-, Hardware- und Perception-Teams zusammen, um eine nahtlose Integration von Algorithmen mit Robotik-Hardware und Sensorik sicherzustellen

- Du führst Experimente und Simulationen durch, um die Performance der Algorithmen in verschiedenen Szenarien zu evaluieren und zu validieren

AUF WAS KÖNNEN WIR UNS FREUEN

- Master- oder PhD-Abschluss in Robotik, Informatik oder einem verwandten Bereich

- Sehr gute Programmierkenntnisse in Python und C++ sowie praktische Erfahrung mit Robotik-Frameworks (z. B. ROS 2) und realer Robotik-Hardware

- Erfahrung in der Entwicklung und dem Deployment von Reinforcement-Learning-Algorithmen und Behavior-Cloning-Ansätzen für Robotersysteme, mit fundiertem Verständnis von humanoider Roboterdynamik, Regelungstechnik und Sensorintegration

- Praktische Erfahrung mit Isaac Lab / Isaac Sim und/oder MuJoCo sowie PyTorch

- Ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten und nachweisbare Erfahrung darin, innovative Lösungen im Bereich Robotik zu entwickeln – idealerweise mit Publikationen oder Beiträgen auf Konferenzen und in Journals

- Du überzeugst mit starken Kommunikationsfähigkeiten

- Du verfügst über sehr gute Englischkenntnisse und sprichst idealerweise auch gut Deutsch
