Marketing Assistant Manager

Company: NEW BLUE SEA (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. Salary: SGD 5,600–6,200 per month

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct market research to identify industry trends, freight rate movements, customer needs and business opportunities in international shipping and logistics services.
  2. Identify potential business leads among manufacturers, trading companies and e-commerce businesses requiring international freight and logistics services.
  3. Contact prospective customers, follow up on enquiries and assess their shipping requirements, including cargo volume, transport routes and service needs.
  4. Prepare marketing materials, business presentations and promotional content to promote the company's shipping and logistics services through online and offline channels.
  5. Assist in preparing freight quotations, service proposals and business documents, and follow up on commercial enquiries and agreements with relevant teams.
  6. Maintain customer databases, monitor marketing performance and prepare market research and business development reports.
  7. Coordinate with sales, customer service, operations, pricing teams and overseas agents to support customer requirements and facilitate smooth service delivery.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Human Resources, Logistics or a related discipline.
  2. Extensive knowledge of international shipping operations, freight forwarding processes and international trade procedures.
  3. Ability to conduct market research, identify potential customers and analyze business opportunities in the shipping and logistics sector.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare business presentations, market research reports and marketing materials.
  5. Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage customer enquiries and coordinate with internal teams and external business partners.
  6. Proficiency in Mandarin and English to communicate with Chinese-speaking customers and business partners in China and North-east Asia as required by the role.
  7. Relevant experience in marketing, business development, freight forwarding or international logistics will be an advantage. Skyline Business Consulting Pte. Ltd. (EA License No.: 14C7389)
