The posting

As a firmware designer your main responsibility is to create and modify firmware designs for programmable logic, for example FPGA’s, including the hardware/software interface of the machine. Your tasks include specifying and documenting requirements, implementing and simulating VHDL code as well as testing the firmware in test setups and in the machine module. As a firmware designer you are the first point of contact for VHDL-related questions. You will work closely with designers of all disciplines (software, hardware, (electro)-mechanical).

This is how you make impact as a firmware designer

As a firmware designer you will be working together with your project team, where you are the VHDL expert. Together with your colleagues you will work on electronics solutions that we develop for and in consultation with our customers, and produce within one of our operating companies.

Your daily tasks include:

You will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, making use of state of the art technology such as systems-on-chip, high speed signaling, and transceiver based interfaces. Our international organization is evolving into a System Innovator in which there is focus not only on hard skills, but definitely on soft skills as well.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
