The posting

This is how you make an Impact

Do you enjoy precise, hands-on work in a technical production environment where quality comes first? Then we would love to get in touch with you for our Gluing and Coating Employee vacancy. In this role, you glue, coat, assemble, and inspect printed circuit boards with electronic components and mechanics. You work in a two-shift schedule and, together with your team, contribute directly to reliable products for industries such as semiconductor and healthcare.

This is what we offer you

In the role of Gluing and Coating Employee, we offer you a challenging position in a dynamic and financially healthy production environment. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the development and growth of Neways. There are also clear development opportunities, for example towards a Proto Operator role.

You can count on:

  • A challenging and informal working environment within an international organization.
  • Plenty of opportunities to develop yourself and grow.
  • Strong coaching and guidance in a growing company with a focus on people and sustainability.
  • A competitive salary, aligned with your knowledge and experience on a full-time basis.
  • 27 vacation days, plus 13 additional ADV days.

This is what you bring to the Team

As a Gluing and Coating Employee, you work accurately and have a strong eye for detail. You are comfortable working according to clear instructions and quality standards, while taking action when you notice something unusual. You communicate easily with colleagues and proactively involve your team leader, Quality or Engineering when questions or quality issues arise. You also have basic computer skills for tasks such as e-mail, entering data and processing photos.

What we ask

  • MBO working and thinking level.
  • Experience reading drawings and following work instructions.
  • A precise, quality-focused and proactive working attitude.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Willingness to work structurally in a two-shift schedule.

Your daily responsibilities include

As a Gluing and Coating Employee, you are responsible for carefully assembling, gluing and coating printed circuit boards. You work according to work instructions, drawings and IPC standards and use equipment such as a dispenser, hand and measuring tools, and coating machines. Accuracy is essential: you inspect your own work and assess each process step with a strong focus on quality.

You place printed circuit boards in product-specific fixtures, manually apply different types of glue and apply coating both manually and by machine. You also perform assembly work, repair deviations from the gluing process and register identified errors in the system. When questions or deviations arise, you consult your team leader and colleagues from Quality or Engineering. After an onboarding period of approximately three months, you are expected to independently perform straightforward gluing, coating and assembly tasks and proactively ask for support when needed.

Your responsibilities also include:

  • Masking printed circuit boards to prevent glue residue;
  • Assembling and inspecting parts according to IPC standards, work instructions and drawings;
  • Manually applying different types of glue and applying coating both manually and by machine;
  • Inspecting applied glue, assembly steps, materials and products for damage and defects;
  • Performing a final inspection using a checklist before an order is sent to packaging or the customer;
  • Registering errors, worked hours and production-order hours in the designated systems;
  • Contributing to an orderly and clean workplace and to agreements regarding 5S, environment, ESD, quality and planning.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
