The posting

This is how you make an impact

Do you enjoy the challenge of keeping our production running smoothly? Do you want to work for a successful supplier in the High Tech and Healthcare industries with customers all over the world? In this role, as first-line support, you are responsible for analyzing and resolving malfunctions in our production machines and test equipment. As a Test Support Engineer (focus on assy), you are closely involved in our production processes and part of the Test Engineering department.

This is what we offer you

A warm and welcoming work environment where personal contact is highly valued. We believe it is important that you can continue to develop yourself, and we offer you room for personal growth with the freedom to take your own initiatives. In addition, we offer:

  • 27 vacation days
  • 13 ADV days
  • Pension scheme
  • Bicycle plan

This is what you bring to the team

To be successful in this role, you are enthusiastic and creative. You are eager to learn and open to new developments. You are able to think in a multidisciplinary way with regard to the entire process. With your communication skills, you can listen to colleagues and understand the issue at hand. You feel responsible for your tasks, are engaged, and work independently.

In addition, we ask for:

  • A completed MBO-level education, preferably in Electrical Engineering;
  • Experience in a similar role is an advantage, but starters are warmly encouraged to apply;
  • You recognize yourself in the following competencies: proactive, communicative, social, supportive, good at setting priorities, and analytical;
  • Willingness to work in a 2‑shift system;
  • Preferably available for 40 hours per week;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English

Your daily responsibilities include

When a colleague reports that a machine or test setup is not functioning (or only partially functioning), it is your task to investigate what is going on. Most malfunctions are electrical in nature, but they can also be mechanical. When structural improvements are needed, you coordinate with one of our Test Engineers to discuss follow‑up actions and propose solutions. Once approved, you liaise with one of our suppliers to resolve the issue.

In addition to solving malfunctions, you also perform preventive and corrective maintenance using tools and equipment. You also keep records of your activities and report these to the Manager Test Engineering.

Your responsibilities further include:

• Participating in the daily production start‑up meeting to discuss and close ongoing action points; • Advising on halting production or potentially rejecting products based on your analyses; • Adjusting machine parameters based on instructions; • Reporting on costs and potential investments; • Providing instructions and explanations to production employees regarding the use of machines, equipment, and related processes; • Managing and advising on improvements to work instructions, routings, working methods, and procedures in consultation with Test Engineers; • Applying a multidisciplinary mindset toward the entire process within NAA; • Connecting people, supporting the development of the team, and inspiring them by maintaining oversight through a helicopter view.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
