We're looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst to join a high-impact Credit Risk technology team responsible for applications supporting counterparty rating assessment and Loss Given Default (LGD) calculations.

In this role, you'll sit at the crossroads of business, risk and technology, helping shape solutions that support critical risk management processes within a complex financial environment. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, risk experts and development teams to gather requirements, define solutions, validate deliveries and drive continuous improvements across key applications.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys understanding business challenges, translating them into actionable requirements and ensuring technology delivers real value. If you're comfortable engaging with stakeholders, challenging requirements constructively and taking ownership from analysis through delivery, you'll thrive here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze and challenge business requirements related to Credit Risk and Rating applications;
  • Produce high-quality functional specifications and business documentation;
  • Act as the main interface between business stakeholders and IT teams;
  • Support the evolution and maintenance of applications responsible for rating and LGD calculations;
  • Facilitate workshops and requirement clarification sessions;
  • Define, prepare and execute functional test cases and validation activities;
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business users;
  • Provide first-line functional support and assist in issue resolution;
  • Ensure knowledge transfer and proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Identify process inefficiencies, application gaps and improvement opportunities;
  • Collaborate with developers, testers and business teams in Agile environments;
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across the team.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst within financial services environments;
  • Academic or professional background in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Banking or related fields;
  • Strong experience gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirements;
  • Proven experience working across the full project lifecycle, from analysis to testing and deployment;
  • Solid understanding of software delivery and business application ecosystems;
  • Strong SQL knowledge and ability to analyze application data;
  • Experience working closely with both technical and business stakeholders;
  • Excellent documentation and functional specification writing skills;
  • Experience defining and executing test cases and functional validation activities;
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities;
  • Experience working within Agile environments, particularly Scrum;
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Technical Environment

You'll likely work with technologies and tools such as:

  • SQL
  • Jira
  • Confluence
  • Agile Frameworks (Scrum / Kanban)
  • Risk Management Applications
  • Regulatory and Credit Risk Systems
  • Functional Testing & UAT Processes

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience within Credit Risk, Ratings, LGD, Basel or Regulatory Risk domains;
  • Experience supporting risk calculation or risk monitoring platforms;
  • Knowledge of banking products and financial markets;
  • Familiarity with counterparty risk assessment processes;
  • Experience working within large international financial institutions;
  • French language skills;
  • Exposure to data analysis and reporting environments.

What We're Looking For

Beyond technical expertise, we're looking for someone who:

  • Thrives in fast-paced and demanding environments;
  • Is highly autonomous, organized and proactive;
  • Thinks strategically while maintaining strong attention to detail;
  • Builds trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels;
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with both business and technical audiences;
  • Enjoys mentoring and supporting less experienced team members;
  • Has strong problem-solving, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills;

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
