Motion Designer & Video Editor

Role Purpose

Own the production of motion graphics and short-form video content across digital platforms, combining strong video editing and post-production skills with modern AI-assisted workflows to deliver engaging, platform-optimized creative at speed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce short-form video content optimized for different platforms, with strong pacing, engaging storytelling, and hook-first structures.
  • Create high-quality 2D motion graphics including kinetic typography, transitions, logo animations, product animations, and campaign visuals.
  • Manage end-to-end post-production, including video editing, sound design, voice-over synchronization, basic color correction, and platform-specific rendering and export.
  • Develop multiple creative versions of video content to support different campaigns, placements, audiences, and platform formats.
  • Leverage AI-powered video and image generation tools to accelerate production, explore creative concepts, and develop efficient, repeatable workflows.
  • Build and maintain an organized library of motion, video, audio, AI-generated, and supporting creative assets.
  • Collaborate closely with the Content Creator on trend-led formats, social-first concepts, and timely content opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Graphic Designer to ensure visual consistency across motion, video, and static brand assets.
  • Continuously research, test, and adopt emerging motion design, video editing, and AI tools to improve the team's creative capabilities and production efficiency.
  • Manage multiple projects and quick-turnaround requests while maintaining strong attention to detail, creative quality, and brand consistency.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of professional experience in motion design and video editing, supported by a strong showreel demonstrating polished motion, video, and visual work.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
  • Strong understanding of motion design principles, visual storytelling, timing, transitions, typography, and composition.
  • Knowledge of 3D or advanced motion design tools is a strong advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered video and image generation tools is highly desirable.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, quick-turnaround edits during live campaigns, trending moments, and time-sensitive content opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of social media video formats, specifications, and best practices across major platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with creative team members while maintaining consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Animation, Film, or a related field is preferred.
