Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Electronics Engineer Intern to join our team and contribute to hardware failure analysis investigations. You will work with experienced hardware development engineers to debug hardware field failures. This position is intended for electrical engineering students with hardware circuit and circuit analysis training. We are primarily looking for someone with solid programming foundations, technical curiosity, and a genuine interest in Artificial Intelligence. The ideal candidate embraces AI and will use the advanced AI tools to support failure investigations. This position provides a wonderful opportunity to understand how product development environments work.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the guidance of senior engineers to identify defects and their root causes. Participate in circuit simulation, analysis, and hands-on troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with engineers from many disciplines (HW design, SW development, Reliability, Quality).
  • Use various tools (AI, Python, Excel) to conduct mass data analysis to find correlations.
  • Support the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Operate lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, bit error rate testers, variable power supplies and optical power meters.
  • Document and report test data and results.
  • Contribute to environmental hardware testing by creating scripts to control climatic chambers and collect performance data.

Qualifications

You have:

  • Enrollment status: still enrolled in university and have not yet graduated, currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics Engineering.
  • A foundation in circuit design, analysis, simulation and AI gained through coursework, projects, or practical experience.
  • Proficiency with C/C#/C.NET, Python and Excel.
  • Familiarity with standard electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, Bit error rate testers).
  • Excellent communication skills (Fluent in Italian and English) with the ability to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to data accuracy.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
