The posting
The Nordic Institute for Interoperability Solutions (NIIS) welcomes internship applications from students interested in technology, research and digital governance. Join our international team to gain practical experience and contribute to a secure, interoperable digital infrastructure that supports public services across borders!
What you could work on
Depending on your skills, interests and our current priorities, your internship could involve:
- Research and analysis: investigating topics related to interoperability, cybersecurity, secure data exchange or digital governance.
- Software development: contributing to the development, testing or documentation of solutions such as X-Road® and Harmony eDelivery Access®.
- Technology and policy: exploring how emerging technologies, standards and governance practices can improve digital public services.
NIIS collaborates with universities and research organisations internationally, connecting academic knowledge with practical challenges. We also welcome ideas for linking an internship to a thesis or university research project. Explore our research activities for inspiration.
