About this role:
Every Nova Sky Stories show starts with the right gear packed and ready to go. As a Warehouse Associate in Boulder, you’ll help prepare drones, launchpads, and support equipment for live events around the world. You’ll work closely with the Warehouse Manager and warehouse team to get gear out the door, check it back in after each show, and make sure it’s ready for its next deployment.
As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll be responsible for:
- Receive, inspect, load, and unload equipment. Scan gear out before each show and back into inventory when it returns.
- Pack equipment for shipment, verify it against show packing lists, and share completed lists with the teams that need them.
- Help conduct inventory counts and flag shortages, missing gear, or replacement parts needed for upcoming shows.
- Clean equipment, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate with the technical team when gear needs further inspection or repair.
- Coordinate warehouse pickups, drop-offs, and shipments with the Warehouse Manager.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, store equipment safely, and follow warehouse safety procedures.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed. (Training is available)
You’ll need to have:
- At least 1 year of experience in warehousing, shipping and receiving, logistics, or a similar role.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform hands-on warehouse tasks such as loading, unloading, packing, and moving equipment.
- Attention to detail when checking equipment, verifying counts, and updating records.
- Comfort using computers and learning inventory software and scanning tools.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and handle equipment with care.
- Clear communication and reliable follow-through when working independently and as part of a team.
It’s a plus if you have:
- Experience in warehousing, shipping and receiving, logistics, or a similar hands-on role.
- Forklift certification or experience using material-handling equipment.
- Interest in drones, technology, or live event production.h.
Working schedule:
The initial schedule is expected to be Monday through Friday during standard business hours, approximately 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The exact schedule may be adjusted as the operation evolves.
Because Nova Sky Stories supports live drone shows and time-sensitive logistics, this role may occasionally require adjusted hours with advance notice when possible. Examples may include evening support during warehouse flight activity, early or late truck loading, or occasional Saturday support for carrier pickups or show-critical logistics.
Salary Range: $25.00 to $28.00 hourly
