Job Title: Associate Scientist, MS&T Lab - 9 months contract

Job Overview:Provide technical and hands-on laboratory support for technology transfer, process optimization, investigations, and continuous improvement projects within the MS&T lab.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lab Execution: Perform experimental studies, pilot-scale activities, and analytical tests following approved protocols (upstream and downstream).
  • Investigations: Conduct investigative testing to support deviation resolution and root-cause analyses.
  • Equipment & Tech: Maintain lab instructions, evaluate new lab technologies, and support equipment qualification, maintenance, and change controls.
  • Inventory & Supplies: Manage procurement and inventory levels for chemicals and laboratory consumables.
  • Compliance & Safety: Comply with GxP regulations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and site Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines.
  • Documentation: Record, archive, and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation for all lab activities.

Key Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of practical lab or manufacturing experience in a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical environment.
  • Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of core laboratory methods, technical tools, and safe handling procedures for chemical and biological hazards.
  • Soft Skills: Clear communication, strong learning agility, and basic presentation skills.
