Job Description

NSF busca un(a) Auditor(a) ASC con experiencia para realizar auditorías de certificación de tercera parte en el marco del Programa de Certificación del Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC).

Este puesto brinda soporte a la certificación de centros de producción acuícola y, cuando corresponda y se cuente con la debida autorización, a la certificación de plantas de producción de alimentos para animales acuáticos, de conformidad con las normas ASC aplicables y los requisitos de acreditación.

Responsibilities

  • Realizar auditorías ASC, presenciales y/o remotas, en centros de producción acuícola y plantas de alimentos autorizadas.
  • Llevar a cabo auditorías de acuerdo con los documentos normativos ASC aplicables, incluidos: Estándares ASC para Especies (ASC Species Standards). Estándar Armonizado ASC para Centros de Producción (ASC Aligned Farm Standard). Estándar ASC para Alimentos (ASC Feed Standard). Requisitos de Certificación ASC para Centros de Producción y Alimentos (ASC Farm and Feed Certification Requirements).
  • Revisar el alcance de la certificación, las normas aplicables y el historial de auditorías anteriores.
  • Preparar planes de auditoría alineados con los requisitos de ASC, los riesgos específicos de cada instalación y los procedimientos de NSF.
  • Evaluar la conformidad mediante evidencias objetivas, registros y observaciones realizadas en las instalaciones.
  • Evaluar los controles ambientales, sociales, operativos y de bienestar animal.
  • Identificar, documentar y justificar las no conformidades de acuerdo con las reglas de ASC.
  • Comunicar los hallazgos de auditoría de manera clara y profesional a la dirección de la instalación.
  • Completar los informes de auditoría y la documentación de seguimiento dentro de los plazos establecidos.
  • Actuar en pleno cumplimiento de los Requisitos de Certificación y Acreditación de ASC (ASC Certification and Accreditation Requirements, CAR) y de los principios de ISO 19011.
  • Mantener en todo momento la imparcialidad, la confidencialidad y la independencia.
  • Participar, cuando sea requerido, en auditorías testificadas, capacitaciones, actividades de calibración y procesos de seguimiento del desempeño.

Qualifications

  • Título universitario o cualificación equivalente en acuicultura, ciencias veterinarias, ciencias ambientales, biología, ciencias de los alimentos o de la alimentación animal, o en otra disciplina técnica relacionada.
  • Cualificación reconocida como Auditor Líder, alineada con ISO 19011 o equivalente.
  • Mínimo de tres años de experiencia profesional relevante en una o más de las siguientes áreas: Operación o gestión de centros de producción acuícola. Fabricación de alimentos para animales acuáticos. Sistemas de cumplimiento ambiental o social. Certificación o inspección de tercera parte.
  • Estar cualificado(a), o encontrarse en un proceso de cualificación debidamente documentado, para los Estándares ASC para Especies y/o el Estándar Armonizado ASC para Centros de Producción.
  • La cualificación en el Estándar ASC para Alimentos será considerada una ventaja.
  • Sólidas habilidades analíticas y buen criterio profesional.
  • Capacidad para redactar informes técnicos de alta calidad en inglés.
  • Capacidad para trabajar de manera independiente, siguiendo procedimientos establecidos.
  • Disponibilidad para viajar.
