Job description

As a Zinc Spark Eroder / EDM Machinist at NTS Hengelo, you work on ultra-precise parts for the most demanding customers in the high-tech industry. With the latest (zinc) spark erosion technology and expansion of our machine park, you create complex shapes, deep cavities, and extremely precise tolerances where conventional machining stops. You know what it means to deal with small and precise work, and you are proud of what lies on the measuring bench at the end of the day. You work in a team of skilled colleagues where quality and collaboration are central. There is room to further develop yourself in the field, and your dedication and flexibility are appreciated.

Your responsibilities also include:

  • Setting up and operating zinc and/or wire spark erosion machines to manufacture precision parts;
  • Monitoring quality and dimensions during and after processing;
  • Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a smooth production process.

Requirements

  • Completed MBO level 3 vocational education in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering or Laboratory Technology (LiS), or an equivalent level of education and experience;
  • Affinity with precise and intricate work, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality;
  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekend shifts;
  • Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written, due to work instructions and communication on the shop floor.

  • Salary ranging from €3,498 to €4,692 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications;
  • Over 40 days off: 27 vacation days and 13 ADV days with a full-time position;
