About the role
Remote in Europe, or hybrid in Barcelona, Dublin, London, or Palma.
What if you could shape the future of travel in a world where AI agents do the booking?
You'll lead Nuitee's new agentic AI capabilities, shaping how AI agents search, book, pay for, and manage hotel stays. You'll decide what to build, get hands-on with the technology, and turn ideas into products that real agents can use.
Reporting directly to our CEO, you'll have significant autonomy to set the direction, make technical and product decisions, and build a small, fast-moving team. You'll work across our existing Connect and Cloud platforms, improving what we've already built and developing new capabilities for an agent-driven travel market.
The challenge is making AI agents capable of completing real travel transactions reliably. Searching for a hotel is one thing. Giving an agent the ability to choose, book, pay, modify, and cancel without things going wrong is much harder.

- You get to shape a new area from day one. You'll decide which opportunities are worth pursuing, what to build, and how to get there, with direct access to the CEO.
- You can build immediately. Nuitee already has hotel inventory, API infrastructure, and commercial relationships. You can use those foundations to develop and test new agentic products.
- You stay close to the technology. You'll be hands-on from the start, working with existing engineering teams and gradually building a small team that can move quickly.
- You have real upside. You'll receive equity in the company as you help develop capabilities that could become central to how travel is distributed.
Nuitée has grown 10x since 2022, was profitable before raising a $48M Series A led by Accel, and works with companies such as Revolut, Grab, Hopper, Priceline, and Sabre.
The kind of problems you'll work on
- How do we make hotel search fast and efficient when AI agents can explore thousands of options before making a booking?
- How should we design secure, agent-native APIs and MCP tools that let agents search, book, and manage hotel stays?
- How can agents reliably complete payments and bookings without sending users through traditional checkout flows?
- How do we let agents safely modify or cancel bookings, handle failures, and keep travellers informed?
This role fits if you
- Have deep software engineering experience, ideally as a technical founder, CTO, or hands-on engineering leader, and can still personally design and build complex systems.
- Have built agentic AI systems yourself, ideally deployed in production with real users, and understand the challenges of reliability, evaluations, and failure handling.
- Have taken products from early ideas to production, making both technical and product decisions along the way.
- Can identify commercial opportunities, understand customer problems, and turn them into useful products.
- Have a strong track record of building successful products or technology in demanding startup, scaleup, or high-scale engineering environments.
- Are comfortable moving fast, working across teams, and building a small function from scratch.
Experience with API platforms, marketplaces, payments, or travel technology is valuable, but we're more interested in what you've built and the outcomes you've achieved.
Nuitée moves quickly, has little process, and gives people a lot of room to make decisions. You’ll do well here if ambiguity does not slow you down, you like going deep into difficult problems, and you want to be accountable for what your work actually delivers.
