Als Process Automation Engineer speel je een cruciale rol in het hart van onze productieomgeving. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het beheren, onderhouden en continu verbeteren van het procesautomatiseringslandschap (ISA‑niveaus 1, 2 en 3 – zowel hardware als software).

Je borgt de betrouwbaarheid en beschikbaarheid van onze productieprocessen en vertaalt data en technologie naar slimme, praktische verbeteringen die de organisatie vooruithelpen. Dit is een hands‑on functie met veel impact, waarin je nauw samenwerkt met Operations, Production Support Engineering en externe technologiepartners.

NX Filtration bevindt zich in een spannende groeifase, gedreven door een unieke en impactvolle technologie. Met onze missie “pure en betaalbare wateroplossingen voor iedereen” ontwikkelen en produceren wij geavanceerde holle‑vezelmembranen voor nano‑, ultra‑ en microfiltratie.

Onze technologie verwijdert de kleinste verontreinigingen uit water, waaronder nanoplastics, organische stoffen, kleurstoffen, medicijnresten, bacteriën en virussen. Hiermee maken wij eenvoudige, efficiënte en duurzame oplossingen mogelijk voor waterzuivering, hergebruik van afvalwater en drinkwaterproductie wereldwijd. Door bij NX Filtration te werken, draag je direct bij aan het oplossen van mondiale uitdagingen op het gebied van waterkwaliteit en waterschaarste.

Wat ga jij doen!

In deze dynamische rol houd je je bezig met:

  • Beheren, onderhouden en verder ontwikkelen van procesautomatiseringssystemen (ISA‑niveaus 1, 2 en 3)
  • Continu verbeteren van het NX Production Data Platform
  • Initiëren, uitwerken en implementeren van technische verbeteringen en procesoptimalisaties
  • Ondersteunen van Operations bij automatiseringsincidenten, inclusief deelname aan de storingsdienst
  • Zorgen voor een hoge beschikbaarheid en kwaliteit van productie‑ en QC‑data en actieve ondersteuning van data‑analyses
  • Voorstellen van automatisering‑ en digitaliseringsprojecten en – na goedkeuring – deze voorbereiden en uitvoeren
  • Adviseren van de organisatie over nieuwe technologische ontwikkelingen en toekomstbestendige oplossingen
  • Actief bijdragen aan het versterken van cybersecurity binnen het OT‑domein

Wat wij vragen!

  • Jij bent een proactieve automatiseringsprofessional met een passie voor technologie en verbetering:
  • Een afgeronde bachelor‑ of masteropleiding in Informatica, Elektrotechniek, Mechatronica of een vergelijkbare richting
  • Minimaal 3 tot 5 jaar relevante werkervaring in procesautomatisering
  • Hands‑on ervaring met Siemens Step7 / TIA Portal / WinCC
  • Ervaring met ProLeiT Plant.iT
  • Bij voorkeur ervaring met OPC UA en AVEVA PI
  • De bereidheid om jezelf én de organisatie continu te blijven ontwikkelen
